About Us

Laird’s Corner Farm occupies land ceded to the United States by the S’Klallam People on Washington State’s Olympic Peninsula. We are a family owned and operated small farm and homestead in the making.

The market garden is the focal point of Laird’s Corner Farm as a business. We are transitioning 0.6 acres of former hay field to a no-till, organic-certifiable, regeneratively managed vegetable and flower garden.

To us, “regenerative” means soil. To restore the health and vitality of the soil. To nurture the soil’s natural structure and ecological networks. To build organic matter and sequester carbon in the soil. To honor the soil’s role in producing nutritious, delicious, beautiful, and healthy plants without the use of toxic chemicals. Soil is not just a growing medium; soil is life.

Sustainability. Resilience. Community. Nobody knows what the future may bring, but all our work centers on building these three essential pillars.

For the time being, day-to-day operations are handled by the resident farming couple, Anna and Michael. Come see us at the Port Angeles Farmers Market most Saturdays, and follow us on Instagram @lairdscornerfarm!
